Our Goal
We provide a well-rounded musical education
for the students and to help them to obtain skills that they can use
for the rest of their lives. Beyond music and musicianship, students
will also learn poise, discipline, goal setting, self-esteem, use of
time, and how to present one's self. We also provide a fun experience
to those who want to explore the pleasures that music can bring.
Reasons that make
us the best choice for you
Focus On Teaching
All we do is teach. We do not sell or rent instruments of music. This
leaves us free to specialize in one thing - providing the highest quality
of music instruction.
University Trained Teachers
Our instructors are highly qualified and many have extensive performance
experience. Most importantly, our instructors strive to relate their
teaching to each individual student's learning style.
All Ages - Beginners to Advanced
Our current students range from 2 years old to many students in their
60's and 70's. We take care to teach what you want to learn so music
is rewarding for students of all ages and levels.
The unique combination of Private Lessons, Musicianship Class and
Music Lab
The private lessons ensure that the student has the undivided attention
of the teacher and can progress at a level suited to them individually.
The musicianship class teaches theory, ear training, music history,
and composition, etc. The music lab promotes total musical growth through
computer MIDI technology.
Regular Concerts and Recitals
Recitals and concerts are held at least 4 times a year. These provide
students with performance experience and build confidence. Participation
in music festivals, competitions and workshops is also available.
Audition and Exam Preparations
We offer full training in repertoire, studies, technique, ear training
and sight reading to prepare students for California Association of
Professional Music Teachers exams. We also prepare students for various
orchestra or symphony auditions they wish to join or to excel in their
academic area of music. More info at
